But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
Children often make mistakes and parents forgive them countless times.
Why do we think God will be different?
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:7
Often we feel shame and guilt for thoughts, actions and things we have said and we try to hide from God, just like Adam and Eve did in the garden. They ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, saw that they were naked and made clothes for themselves out of leaves.
Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Genesis 3:8
God does not delight in our sin but He alone offers forgiveness and redemption for/from our sinful ways. There are consequences for our actions, He does hold us accountable, so that we can learn from what we do. He even often blesses us in our consequences.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

He will save you.
