Some people have mountain top faith – they enjoy the times when “all seems right in their world.” These are the times that they are most pleased with their relationship with the Lord.
When things begin to “go wrong,” they start to rely on themselves for answers, forgetting all together the mountain top they were recently on and getting lost in their current situation.
Recently, I was on a hike at Amicalola Falls in Georgia and I saw this pick up truck

This old truck rotting/rusting away in the woods got me thinking about people’s spiritual conditions.
