Growing up I never loved my name.  It was too common, not unique enough.  I have always loved uniqueness ;)

It was nice in elementary school to read a simple story that had my name in it.

When I left for the World Race in September of 2014, I did not know that throughout Asia my name would be one of the most memorable, easiest to say or already had a meaning in many Asian countries.

What was even better about my name is that in Asia often when you meet someone for the first time they will tell you their name and what it means.

That means when I would tell them my name, I had the opportunity to explain what it means:

What a segway into me being able to tell people the Good News of Jesus Christ!

I am now thankful for my name and the opportunities I've had to share the Good news because of it.

What does your name mean?
