I left my corporate job at Edy’s Grand Ice Cream in March, 2009 to hike the Appalachian Trail as a Missionary. I was blessed to hike and share the gospel for 4 months. This was my first full time missions trip. I have been on over 10 mission trips since taking that step of faith and walking away from the comfort of that job and lifestyle; from 4 week long trips to Damascus, VA to minister and serve hikers, week long ministry outreaches to Bowie, MD, to 6 months in India teaching at a school for slum children. With each trip, I’ve found God continuing to show me how broken the world is and how much people need to experience Him. I have an exciting opportunity to be part of a yearlong missions team going to ASIA in September, 2014. Our team will be led by Adventures in Missions and the trip is called the World Race. Together we will take the Good News of the Gospel to the people of Asia.
