I was given the chance to talk with 3rd, 4th and 5th graders this morning in Sunday School about missions.  We talked about Jesus, the great commission, the gospel, the 10/40 window, missions and being missionaries.  The students were very attentive and had great questions!  It was such a blessing to get to share with them some of the ways the Lord has used me in the past and about The World Race.  I’ll be reporting for LAUNCH of the World Race in only 5 days!  5 days, you read that right.  The time is quickly approaching.

During the worship service, one of my Pastors prayed for me and I was able to stand in a receiving line with several children who will be baptized (Praise Jesus) tonight.  I was able to hug, share smiles, receive greetings and blessings for the trip from good friends and new friends.  I was so encouraged by everyone’s enthusiasm and interest.

Many people came up to me today to tell me that they wanted to help send me.  I am so excited to announce that I am now at 92% support!  $14,952 of $16,254 has been raised, so only $1,302 is remaining.  Here is what that looks like on the Donation Board:

  1. Tina, thank you for sharing with our Sunday school class. They will never forget you! We will be watching you and reading about your Journey and the children and I will be praying for you as you go. We are so excited for you and so thrilled to see your funding being provided. Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow. And thank you again for your heart for the Gospel and your heart for our Lord Jesus, may He be glorified in our lives today and always.
